Terms of Service for the Modexa Discord Application
Version dated October 10, 2026
1. Owner and acceptance
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Modexa application for Discord (the “Application”). Owner: Artem Medvedev. Contact: misteart.medvedev@outlook.com. The owner’s postal address is not published for privacy reasons; inquiries are handled individually by email.
By adding, configuring, or using the Application, users and server administrators agree to these Terms and must comply with the Discord Terms of Service, Discord Community Guidelines, Discord Developer Terms of Service, and Discord Developer Policy. Mandatory Discord rules and applicable law prevail in case of conflict.
2. Purpose
Modexa provides tools for community management and integrations between supported platforms. Available features depend on the current version, server configuration, and permissions granted. Features may include commands, settings, identity linking, role management, and message bridging when those capabilities are enabled.
3. Permissions and administrator responsibilities
Server administrators should review the permissions requested by the Application and grant only those that are necessary. Administrators are responsible for configuring the Application, selecting channels for integrations, informing members about enabled features, and ensuring they have authority to modify roles or forward content.
The Application must not act on behalf of a user or server without appropriate authorization. Users may disable features or remove the Application from a server using the options available in Discord.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Application to break the law, harass others, spam, commit fraud, circumvent bans or security measures, obtain account credentials, collect data without an appropriate basis, or infringe third-party rights. You must not attempt to access data that is not needed for the Application’s stated features.
5. Data and privacy
Data processing is described in the separate Privacy Policy. Users and administrators should review it before enabling relevant features. Personal data is not sold or used for advertising or profiling. If this statement ceases to reflect the actual implementation, the Policy and the Application must be updated before further use.
6. Intellectual property and Discord relationship
Modexa names, original materials, and branding belong to their respective rights holders or are used lawfully. Discord and its trademarks belong to Discord Inc. Modexa is not an official Discord product and does not claim Discord’s endorsement unless such endorsement has been expressly granted.
7. Availability and changes
The Application is under development. Features may change, become temporarily unavailable, or be discontinued. The owner aims to maintain functionality but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided on an “as available” basis. The owner is not responsible for Discord outages, third-party service failures, incorrect server configuration, or administrator decisions made without considering their consequences. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Suspension and termination
The owner may restrict access to the Application in cases of abuse, security risks, violations of these Terms, or legal requirements. Users and administrators may stop using the Application by removing it. Following termination, data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.
10. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the Application or applicable law changes. The current version will be published on this page. Material changes will be identified by updating the revision date.
11. Governing law and contact
Applicable law is determined in accordance with relevant laws and conflict-of-law rules. Owner: Artem Medvedev. Email: misteart.medvedev@outlook.com.
